Abu Dhabi was the scene for the 30th annual BSME (British Schools in the Middle East) conference held on the 31st Jan - 3rd Feb 2012.

Warwick Mann International Ltd were present at the event for the 11th straight year and once again it proved to be an extremely successful and very positive event.

The opening day involved the BSME golf tournament which was played at the Saadiyat Beach golf course and was once again sponsored by Warwick Mann International Ltd along with TIC Recruitment and WCBS. The event proved popular as ever with school heads from all over the region participating but once again the title was won by Rob Kent from Fujairah Private Academy.

The conference was officially opened by His Excellency, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and once underway we received some very good enquiries from both existing clients and new schools and principals which our team will follow up in the coming months. Many schools expressed an interest in our school healthcare renewal service with a number of schools asking us to find them quotations for their staff healthcare as they come up for renewal in the summer.

We would like to thank all those who attended and who helped make it an extremely enjoyable event. We look forward to seeing you all again next year in Jordan.

International Heads Golf tournament

Over the summer we held the first  ever international schools golf tournament based in the UK.

The event sponsored by four companies; Warwick-Mann International, TIC Recruitment, WCBS International, ISC Research, was a great opportunity to play golf on a world-class course, to socialise with Head teachers from schools all over the world as well as having a great day out during the summer holidays.

2011 LAHC Annual Conference, Lima-PERU

2011 LAHC Annual Conference, Lima-PERU The 2011 LAHC conference was held in Lima, Peru this year and was a great success. There were over 300 delegates and 17 exhibitors from as far away as Australia to the USA and Europe. The guest speakers from Harvard in Boston were fantastic and helped draw in a greater then ever number of delegates. The event was held at the Sonesta Hotel in a lovely part of Lima, San Isidro, and not too far from the more well known Miraflores. There are more than 7 international schools in Lima alone and delegates came from all over Latin America to learn, share and network, as well as have the opportunity to come and talk to us.

2011 LAHC Annual Conference, Lima-PERU
This is a relatively small conference so we had a simple table with a few leaflets and brochures as well as a few nice gifts to give away from Friends Provident International and Lloyds TSB Offshore. We had a number of meetings with delegates that will lead to new opportunities as well as having the chance to catch up with some friends, existing clients and school heads that we know well.

Overall it was a great event and looking forward to LAHC 2012 in Santiago, Chile. 2011 LAHC Annual Conference, Lima-PERU
